DTC Commercial Partnerships Manager (Asia) & Analyst (Global)

Department: Commercial Partnerships Reports to: Chief Commercial Officer (Commercial Business Analyst) and Head of Commercial Partnerships (DTC Commercial Partnerships Manager) Location: London Type: Full-Time

Purpose of Position

Manage the DTC business in Asia to meet and advance the company’s omnichannel vision, with a focus on Mainland China. Cross departmental work to analyse and optimise business. Help develop and implement the strategy for new and current territories / partners in the region, whilst supporting the global strategy. Work with Finance and all commercial channels to produce global business analysis and reports.

Key Responsibilities:

DTC Commercial Partnerships Manager (Asia)

  • Direct Management of our Asia DTC business, i.e. Mainland China
  • Full responsibility for the brand development in the territories alongside the local partners.
  • Ownership of the top and bottom line.
  • Management of all Store Openings as well as the day-to-day operation of the brand in the territories. 
  • Collaborate with local Brand Managers and Manolo Blahnik Merchandising team on product assortment based on product expertise, market knowledge and brand guidelines.
  • Liaise with partners, finance and logistic departments on payments and deliveries to meet global launches.
  • Liaise with production and merchandising departments on collection edit, seasonal & core product requirements and critical path.
  • Facilitate seasonal and general brand training for our partners and the local retail teams.
  • Liaise with the Legal department on contract renewals and updates.
  • Produce reports, business reviews and product performance analysis including sell-throughs, turnover, budgets
  • Work with the Head of Commercial Partnerships to develop and implement the strategy for current and new partners & markets in the region.
  • Liaise with partners and architects on store location approval and shop fit sign off.
  • Collaborate with our communications department and our partners to deliver store openings, seasonal activations, pop-ups and events.

Commercial Business Analyst (Global)

  • Produce and send global cross-channel weekly sales reports. 
  • Regular data analysis to provide insights into business performance.
  • Business Strategy Support: collaborate with stakeholders across different departments and regions to understand business needs and priorities.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats in the retail landscape.
  • Provide analytical support for strategic initiatives such as market expansion, product launches, and pricing strategies.
  • Process Improvements: Identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement in business processes and workflows.
  • Propose and implement solutions to streamline operations, reduce costs, and enhance overall efficiency.
  • Monitor the impact of process changes and measure success through key metrics and performance indicators.
  • Work on regular company meetings’ presentations and reporting.
  • Responsible for diverse cross-channels adhoc projects.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Must have a minimum of 8 years’ experience in Wholesale, brand management and luxury sales.
  • Proven experience as a business analyst or data analyst would be beneficial
  • In-depth knowledge of the luxury market in Mainland China is required.
  • Experienced with sales reporting and data analysis.
  • Strong business acumen, organisational skills, co-ordination and attention to detail.
  • Structured and capable of dealing with several tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, across all stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and generate actionable insights.
  • Systems Experience: JOOR knowledge and NetSuite is a plus.
  • Brand Ambassador: A strong and passionate team player.
  • Microsoft Office: Advanced Excel and PowerPoint required.
  • Travel in the role will be required.
