Reports to: Head of Systems & IT
Location: New York
Purpose of Position
To manage the company's Systems & IT, and related areas of concern. To develop relationships and work alongside suppliers who help to manage network technology, IT security and the software platforms used by the company. To help establish data storage infrastructure, governance, and access protocols and rules within the company. Design, test, implement, and document interfaces and new functionality. Provide Systems & IT support to all end users and Retail stores, including training and associated documentation. Predominantly a hands-on technical role, the Systems & IT Manager will be required to be the subject matter expert for IT Processes, fully understand business processes and how our systems can provide means. Manage installations and configurations as well as administrative tasks as required on Systems and IT systems alike.
Infrastructure, Operations, Security and Governance
A primary point of contact for MBA support, issues, requests and questions.
Retail Stores support for POS Application and hardware.
Provision of hardware for new starters, creation of accounts, processing leavers.
Provision and maintenance of telephony solutions, including cell phones.
Management of MBA Systems & IT budget.
Providing training, as well as training materials.
Mentoring Systems & IT Assistant role.
Preserve assets, information security and control structures.
Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems.
Work alongside the Systems Manager and Head of Systems & IT to introduce and refine processes, policies and governance.
Maintaining data governance, analysing data, and supervising data migration.
Systems and Integration
Subject matter expert for configuration of systems, particularly NetSuite ERP.
Providing enhanced investigation and resolution of Systems queries.
Investigate root cause analysis of issues to propose long-term remediation.
Capturing business requirements, mapping processes, and Systems documentation. Identify, document and validate solutions gaps.
Lead on US reporting requirements and provision.
Contribution to Project Management documentation.
Management of testing phases, and documenting acceptance criteria.
Maintain integrations between systems to ensure they are performant, collaborate with Systems Manager (EU) on design & build tasks.
Propose new solutions for business efficiencies, social/environmental impact, and revenue increase.
Primary point of contact for EDI integration configuration, monitoring and maintenance.
Any other tasks as required.
Skills and Experience Required:

Knowledge of Networks, TCP/IP.
Proficient with OS; Windows 10/11, Windows Server, Mac OS X.
Highly skilled in all Microsoft Office applications.
Technical NetSuite ERP experience, and a working knowledge of WMS.
Experience of Integration development and management, including knowledge of EDI protocol and processes, SFTP, CSV, XML, API, JSON, Web Services.
Knowledge of SQL.
Knowledge of PLM systems (ideally Centric) would be advantageous.
Knowledge of POS & stock management systems (ideally Cegid) would be advantageous.
Knowledge of E-Commerce and PIM systems desirable.
Experience of Supply Chain including Retail and Wholesale.
Experience of implementation of significant IT solutions and project management.
Experience of technical support and computer operations.
Ability to interpret and work with Data, being familiar with a BI software would be advantageous.
Experience of mentoring talent.
